Bell Unisex Super DH MIPS Spherical – Matte/Gloss Black

Bell was the first company to release a mountain bike helmet with a removable chin guard in the form of the Super 2R. That helmet was a massive hit, delivering the comfort and cooling of a half shell for the way up and full face protection on the way down. Now, two generations later, we have the Super DH. This helmet earns the “DH” tag by satisfying the ASTM downhill certification. This is means the helmet can be used when racing downhill because it provides very high levels of protection. MIPS Spherical also features on this helmet, which further increases impact protection, including from glancing blows. The slip liner reduces torque on the head and neck in a crash by rotating inside the outer shell.

As well as being highly protective, the Super DH is also incredibly comfortable. It has 19 main vents, 2 brow ports for through ventilaytion and 4 in the chin bar. The chin bar can be instaled and removed without tools. With a bit of practice, this can even be done without taking the helmet off. A breakaway camera mount can be used either to record your rides or mount a light for night riding. The best bit is that all of this comes in a package that only weighs 850g.
