Nuroad – Skygrey / Black

The Cube Nuroad gravel bike was born of a fusion between road, CX and mountain bike design to create a capable mile muncher that doesn’t baulk at rough terrain. The aluminium frame has slender seat stays to absorb road buzz and it’s paired with a carbon fork that filters out vibrations at the front end. Despite being made from aluminium, you could mistake the Nuroad for a carbon bike thanks to smooth welding construction techniques and hydroformed tube shapes. The frame also has mounts for full-length mudguards and a rack, should you want to ride through the winter or commute with your Nuroad.

Being a gravel bike, the Nuroad comes fitted with comfortable and grippy 40 mm tyres with frame clearance for 45 mm tyres without mudguards. Endurance geometry makes for stability at speed and more manageable handling off-road. This bike comes specced with Shimano’s excellent value Claris groupset. It has a 2×8 configuration that shifts reliably and can be easily adjusted. Mechanical disc brakes mean you never need to worry about stopping power because they bite just as well in the wet as they do in the dry.
