Specialized Crux Comp – 2022 – Arctic Blue / Tarmac Black

Specialized are no strangers to making lightweight bikes.  Drawing on experience from building the Aethos (the lightest production bike in the world) they have now gone on to make the lightest gravel bike in the world.  Make no mistake, the Crux does not compromise on performance. It’s still incredibly tough and rides like a dream but it will see you to the top of climbs faster than ever.

825 grams of immaculately crafted carbon fibre make up each frame.  The frame and fork have clearance for up to 2.1″ tyres on 650b wheels.  The bike comes equipped with 700x38mm pathfinder pros mounted on DT Swiss G540 rims for super fast rollling on tarmac and exceptional cornering grip off road.  A 1×11 SRAM Rival groupset continues the minimalist theme, with simple, single-trigger shifting and powerful hydraulic disc brakes.  The crux isn’t brimming with tech like some of its competitors. Instead it takes bike design back to basics.  It gives you everything you need and nothing more, for the an incredible ride at an incredible weight.
