The Turbo Tero is one versatile beast. On the face of it, it’s an XC mountain bike, with its suspension fork, chunky tyres and 1x drivetrain. In reality, it’s so much more than that. The boost you get from the electric assist system means you can go further and faster than ever before. This opens up possibilities for urban commuting, towing trailers or big adventures in the wilderness.

The Mastermind display/controller takes centre stage on the bars. You can use it to show all kinds of ride and system stats as well as tune the motor output. Compatibility with the Mission Control app means you can lock the motor, record rides and tune the different assistance modes ’til your heart’s content.

The Turbo Tero 3.0 comes equipped with a Shimano Alivio 1×9 drivetrain for simplicity and ease of use. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes are low maintenance and provide reliable stopping power in all conditions. The 530Wh battery makes for an impressive range and it’s removable for charging off the bike. Specialized’s 2.0E motor kicks out 250W, multiplying your pedalling power by up to 4 times, so can tackle even the steepest hills with confidence.
