Trek X-Caliber 8 – 2022 – Crystal White

The Trek X-Caliber is a cross-country bike at heart but it has everything that you need for day-to-day use too.  The Aluminium frame is lightweight and strong with sharp handling geometry for rapid climbing. Tidy internal routing keeps the bike’s aesthetic clean and the cables protected. Most sizes come equipped with 29″ tyres but the XS and small have more appropriate 27.5″ wheels. If you want your new trail bike to do double duty as your commuting bike, then just fit a pannier to the back. You can mount mudguards and a kickstand for added convenience too.

The X-Caliber 8 comes equipped with a Shimano Deore/XT drivetrain which delivers wonderfully smooth shifting and a nice wide gear range for cranking up even the steepest hills. The brakes are of the Shimano MT200 variety. These hydraulic disc brakes perform well in the wet and dry, as well as being super reliable and easy to bleed. A 100mm travel RockShox Judy SL suspension fork eats trail obstacles and gives great traction through the corners while still being lightweight.
